A Girl with a Guide-The Holy Ghost

Finding Joy

The writing process brings me joy as well as some frustration. I feel called to write and I sense the Spirit upon me when I am being obedient to this calling. There is a peace that comes on me, a comfort that I cannot express with mere words. Some Saturdays I get lost in the process writing and rewriting for hours. My mornings are more enjoyable when I am able to write. I have come to learn that my writing inspiration is all from the Lord. Without Scripture and prayer, I am unable to produce anything fruitful.

How grateful I am that I attended the Christian Writer’s Conference in Leesburg back in October, where this Spiritual Awakening was rekindled in my soul. I look forward to May as I will attend the Blue Ridge Writer’s Conference in North Carolina.

My journals are filled with Scripture verses, applications, prayers, reflections, and ideas. Along with research and teachings from online workshops that I attend. There are tidbits of wisdom, encouragement, and hope. Little sparks that feed my desire to continue this process, day by day and step by step.

At present, I joyfully write a feature article for Inspire a Fire on Word Press, that posts on the 28th of each month. Last month, I was so thrilled to see my labor of love posted. I am sure I will feel the same joy tomorrow morning when the second article posts. I hope that you will follow me on the Inspire a Fire Website. I do appreciate feedback, so thank you for reading and commenting.

I have many writing project ideas and pray that the Spirit will continue to lovingly guide me day by day. Thank you for reading and following me on this new quest in my life.

When I was a teenager attending youth group, my pastor closed our Sunday gatherings with this prayer.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Until Next Time,

Teresa
